Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: May 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AussieBetWave website, mobile applications, and betting platform (collectively, the "Service"). By opening an account, navigating the website, or placing a bet, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any specific sports betting rules applicable to your wagers. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AussieBetWave, operating under the laws of Australia.

2. Eligibility and Age Verification

To use AussieBetWave, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age. Underage gambling is an offense. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any stage and suspend accounts until satisfactory documentation is provided.
  • Jurisdiction: You must be a resident of Australia and accessing the platform from within Australian borders where online sports betting is legally permitted.
  • Capacity: You must be acting on your own behalf and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

3. Account Registration and Security

You are permitted to open only one (1) account with AussieBetWave. Duplicate accounts will be closed, and any associated bets may be voided. When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials (email and password) confidential. AussieBetWave is not liable for any unauthorized use of your account resulting from your failure to protect your login details. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any security breach.

4. Verification and KYC (Know Your Customer)

In compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), we are required to verify your identity. You must complete our electronic verification process within 14 days of opening an account, or before making any withdrawal—whichever comes first. If electronic verification fails, you will be required to provide physical documentation, such as a certified copy of your driver’s license or passport, and a recent utility bill.

5. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Funds

All financial transactions are strictly regulated:

  • Payment Methods: You may only deposit funds using payment methods registered in your own name. Third-party deposits are strictly prohibited and will be returned.
  • Withdrawals: Withdrawals will only be processed to the same account used for depositing, where possible. You must verify your identity before any withdrawal is approved.
  • Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a deposit without valid cause, your account will be immediately suspended, and we reserve the right to take legal action to recover lost funds.

6. Placement and Acceptance of Bets

A bet is only deemed valid once it has been accepted by our servers and a confirmation receipt/ticket number is issued. It is your responsibility to ensure the details of your bets are correct before confirming them. Once confirmed, bets cannot be canceled or changed by the user. AussieBetWave reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet without providing a reason. We also reserve the right to void any bet in the event of a "Palpable Error" (an obvious mistake in the odds or line offered).

7. Prohibited Activities

Engaging in any of the following activities will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of funds:

  • Using VPNs or proxy servers to mask your location.
  • Collusion, match-fixing, or insider betting.
  • Using automated software, bots, or AI to place bets or scrape data.
  • Exploiting software bugs or errors in our odds feeds.

8. Responsible Gambling

AussieBetWave is fully committed to promoting responsible gambling. We offer various tools to help you manage your betting activity, including pre-commitment deposit limits, temporary time-outs, and permanent self-exclusion. If you choose to self-exclude, your account will be locked, and you will be removed from all marketing communications. We will take reasonable steps to prevent you from opening a new account during the exclusion period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AussieBetWave will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure from cyber threats. In any event, our maximum liability to you will not exceed the amount of the specific wager in dispute.

10. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to you via email or a prominent notice on our website before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
